Elaine Hahn's creative impressions are based on closely observed details and strong abstract design elements. Her work captures the style, beauty and textures of the flora and waterfront scenes of the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay area.
Elaine Hahn is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society. Her paintings have achieved prominence through acceptance and awards in major national juried exhibitions, including the American National Watercolor Society, the Midwest Watercolor Society and the Virginia Watercolor Society. She is an exhibiting member of the Art league of Alexandria, Virginia and the Potomac Valley Watercolor Society. Her works are included in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Elaine has taught and conducted workshops for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as well as other art councils. Ms. Hahn holds a BA and MA in art from the University of Missouri, and she has studied with noted artists throughout the United States, England and Mexico.
